Our topic is about the importance of the "Day of Judgment:"

Al-Barzakh - Barier between life of this world and eternal life.

The Muslim believe that after death our soul will keep waiting for the beginning of Hereafter.
(Day of Judgment) while waiting they are being tortured some sad and some are happy.
[Related Sahih Muslim]

Al-Barzakh -- (transit world), our soul will keep waiting for the beginning of hereafter (Day Of Judgment) while waiting, they are tortured some sad some happy.
  (Sahih Muslim)

After people die, Allah (SWT) will order the angel to blow the trumphet to announce the beginning of the day of judgment, and after all the creatures shall die and then Allah (SWT) will command the angel to blow the trumphet for the second time all of them resurrected and come to life again and they will gather  in land of Al-.Hasher.

RESURRECTION

"O mankind! if ye have doubt about the resurrection, (consider) that we created you out of dust, then out of sperm, them out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; ans some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having kbow (much). and (further), thou sees the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rsin on it, it is stiirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth in pairs.
[Surah Al-Hajj, 22:5]
