How Allah Created Adam?

3 Muharram, 1436

Adam, in other words man, was created from dust as is evident from the following verse:

"When your Lord said to the angels: Surely, I am going to create a mortal (Bashar) from dust"

Surah Sad, 38:71

" O mankind We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (Out Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach age of full strength; and some of you called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it wells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth in pairs."

Surah Al hajj, 22:5

They are a lot of evidence in the Qur'an! the creation of human being or the first person here on earth, everybody knows that is Adam and Eve. If we understand that God made a statue of man of the potter's clay and by breathing into His spirit turned into a living man.

Under this law of evolution the Qur'an describes the creation of man in the following words:

"And certainly We created man of an extract of clay; then We placed him in a drop of sperm in a place in a rest firmly fixed; then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of the clot We made a lump (fetus); then We make out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature. So, blessed be Allah the best to create"

Surah Al-Mu'minun, 23:12-14

Breathing of Divine Spirit

"So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him"
Sura Al-Hijr, 15:29
                       

"Behold! Your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust. When I have made him complete and breathed into My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance to him."
Surah Sad, 38:71-72

The Divine spirit is breathed into man after he has been made physically complete. It means he has been endowed with the faculty of God-like knowledge and the power to discriminate between good and evil and a will of choose, which, if rightly used elevates him to the exalted office of the vicegerent of God on earth, to whom all the forces of nature are made subservient.
